Remembering the I-40 Bridge Protest

In 2016 there was a Black Lives Matter protest on the I-40 bridge. Next month will be the seventh anniversary of the bridge protest. Police Director Mike Rallings and Mayor Jim Strickland were preparing for the worst as the protestors led by Devonte Hill and Frank Gotti marched on the bridge. This was to protest the violence and police killing of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
