The purpose of my content is to explore the growth of the Memphis minority community. Specifically, my website is geared towards African American community. Memphis is 60 percent African American one of the highest populated percentages in the South.

My name is Elbert Hubbard Jr. I am a New Media Journalism student at Full Sail University. I am also a production assistant at WREG-TV. I worked at the television station for a year and a half.

I graduated from LeMoyne-Owen College in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications.

The goal of this website is to post about issues and community events in Memphis involving African Americans. My website also shows events going on in Memphis my readers would enjoy.

Some of my articles are from MABJ events (Memphis Association of Black Journalists) and community events.

I would love to hear your feedback about my work. Send me a comment or email elbertlouishubbard@gmail.com or elberthubbardmedia@gmail.com.
